Your children are obviously the most important part of your life. As a parent, you would take every step possible to make sure that your children remain safe and adequately looked after at all times. As a working parent, there are steps that you need to take to make sure that there is someone to look after your children while you are at work. While there is the option of sending your child to a day care centre, it is actually not recommended. Instead, don’t you think it would be better for you to hire a nanny who could come home and look after your children the entire day until you come back home? The fact is that nannies have long been helping working parents look after their children. However, there is a downside to the situation. In most cases, the term nanny has been associated with an individual who offers domestic help. That is completely wrong. A number of people have come around to believe that the nanny they hire will help them out with other household chores as well.
If you have any such concepts in your mind, it is time for you to take a step back and think through things. There are a number of chores that your chosen nanny in Dubai will not help you out with because that is not part of her job description. Let us take a look at a list of things that you cannot expect your nanny to do:
Helping out with extra household chores
Most people think that as the nanny is at the home it should be part of our duty to help you out with extra household chores. Unless it has been mentioned in agreement, there is no way that she will work out with other household chores. The basic duty of a nanny is to look after your children and that is the only thing that she should be focused on. If you have acquired services pertaining to nursing in Dubai, make sure that you don’t expect them to help you out with anything other than looking after the patient that you have hired her for.
Working overtime without getting paid for it
At times, you will find yourself dealing with an extremely hectic schedule. Your work life may require you to some extra hours at work every now and then. While nannies understand that will regularly have to do so, it is best for you to restrict the number of times a month on which the nanny that you have hired will have to put in extra hours. If she is willing to do so, make sure that you pay for it or else don’t expect her to sit around and wait for you to return home from work.
